How many motor coils will have any effect on the motor?

We know that when winding the coil for the motor spindle winding, the number of turns of the coil should be strictly implemented according to the motor parameters. For the motor, the number of turns of the coil will have a certain impact on the motor, because the winding in the motor is similar to the inductance. If the motor is wound a few more times, the number of turns will increase and the inductance will increase. If you wind a few fewer turns, the number of turns will decrease, the inductance will also decrease, which will have more or less influence on the motor.

The coil of the motor is a part of the stator circuit of the motor. When the motor is energized, if the number of coils of the motor is less than the actual number, and the motor power is also relatively large, because the number of turns of the high-power motor is inherently small and the cross-sectional area of the coil diameter is large, then The current will increase, which will cause the magnetic flux density of the motor to increase and saturate, and eventually cause the motor to heat the motor to burn.

At the same time, in terms of external speed, the number of turns of the coil decreases, and the speed of the motor will increase. Because the motor coil is wound by hand, the gap between the coil and the iron core increases, which reduces the number of turns of the coil to a certain extent.

A few less turns are not enough, what if the motor is wound a few more turns?
The motor winding a few more turns not only wastes the wire, but also increases the resistance and reactance of the motor winding, which will definitely affect the performance of the motor. After adding the number of turns first, it is equivalent to the increase of the resistance of the motor winding, and the current will decrease. Obviously, it will reduce the motor power. The second is to increase the winding, after the external performance of the motor speed will slow down, but can extend the service life of the motor.

Summary:
For the power of the motor, the number of thin turns of the small-power motor wire is large. Generally, one phase winding has 1000 or 2000 turns. When winding the wire, it is not a big problem to lose ten turns and eight turns, which has little effect on the motor.

However, it is different for motors with high power. Its windings are thick and few. Increasing or decreasing the number of windings has a greater impact on the motor. Therefore, when actually embedding the motor, the original wire diameter and the original number of turns should be used according to actual needs. The coil can be embedded and wound less or more, otherwise it is difficult to achieve the original performance.
