LA series-pure electric vehicle permanent magnet drive motor
For pure electric vehicles, whether electric buses, passenger cars or commercial vehicles, the current direction of market efforts is to improve the endurance. There are two solutions to improve the endurance. One is to start with the battery, increase the energy density of the battery or increase the number of batteries to use, and the other is to improve the energy efficiency of the motor.
For permanent magnet motors, the power factor can be maintained at more than 92% within the rated speed (non-field weakening zone), but its weakness is in the performance of the field weakening zone, and the motor power factor is less than 70% when the field is weak. Therefore, the permanent magnet motor must be used in the non-weak field area (constant torque area)
In order to have maximum efficiency.
To Gangbao energy-saving LA series permanent magnet motor can fully meet the needs of high-speed operation in constant torque area.

LA Series Permanent Magnet Drive Motor Features
● In response to the demand for pure electric buses, Gangbao Energy Saving has developed a rated torque of 3000Nm (full series of motors 800Nm ~ 3000Nm), a rated speed of 2000rpm and a power of 600KW, which can be used with constant torque.
● Take a 12-meter electric bus with a full load of 20 tons as an example, the LA3 permanent magnet motor of Gangbao has the following characteristics:
-Rated/peak torque 3000Nm, rated/peak speed 2000rpm, can be used in constant torque area (non-weak magnetic field area) under full load, saving power and higher efficiency
-25% climbing gradient under full load
-When the speed of the above bus is 100 kilometers per hour, because it is used in the constant torque area, but the actual torque does not reach the rated torque, the maximum efficiency can reach more than 97%.
-The volume is about 250KW smaller than the bus drive motor on the market.

High speed operation in constant torque area
● For pure electric vehicles, whether electric buses, passenger cars or commercial vehicles, the current direction of market efforts is to improve the endurance. There are two solutions to improve the endurance. One is to start with the battery, increase the energy density of the battery, or increase the number of batteries to use, and the other is to improve the energy efficiency of the motor.
● For permanent magnet motors, the power factor can be maintained above 92% within the rated speed (non-weak magnetic), but its weakness is the performance in the weak magnetic region, and the motor power factor is less than 70% when the weak magnetic is weak. Therefore, the permanent magnet motor must be used in the non-weak field area to have the maximum efficiency.
● Take the bus as an example, it is directly driven without a reducer (it still needs to be used with a differential, generally the reduction ratio is 39:9). If the vehicle speed is greater than 50Km, the motor speed will run above 1500rpm, and it will be used in the constant power area with weak magnetic control, so the motor efficiency is only about 65 ~ 70%.
●Because the market is still unable to provide a motor that can run at high speed in the constant torque zone, and for bus manufacturers, the current cost of general motors used under constant power is relatively low, so most car manufacturers choose to use this type of motor.
In fact, because of the low efficiency of the motor, the wasted energy is reflected in the battery, which reduces the endurance. Therefore, compared with the cost wasted by the battery, the cost actually increases.
